Sources of U.S. trade data

A number of U.S. organizations make trade data about the U.S. economy available online, and provide in-depth qualitative assessments of economic and commercial conditions in country reports.  

Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED)
FRED enables users to download, graph, and track 390,000 U.S. and international time series from 79 sources. FRED also offers a powerful app that puts economic data at everyone's finger tips.

United States Department of Commerce Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA)
The BEA has tables of interactive data on international transactions and direct investment by country and industry.  The interactive data tables are useful for a detailed view of trade and investment.

United States International Trade Commission

The USITC has in depth reports on trade and investment topics important to understanding the evolution of the economy.

The US Census Bureau presents business, demographic, and economic data valuable for market research.

The United States International Trade Administration has introduced useful trade data at the state level and a basic infographic on US services trade.
